South Kitsap Fire & Rescue's Home Inspection Team


Our Home Inspection Team is a wonderful opportunity for  men and women of any age who want to volunteer for the district but don't want to go through the extensive training that is required for firefighting.  The all volunteer Inspection Team provides safety inspections for our local citizens' homes.  When a request is received for an inspection our Team walks through the home with the owner and points out potential fire and life safety hazards and provide suggestions for how to mitigate these problems.  The Inspection Team also canvases neighborhoods which are statistically at high-risk for residential fires.  If you are a person who likes to interact with people and enjoys the satisfaction of helping people, then this is the place for you.
